POSITION SUMMARY

TapBlaze is looking for an ambitious, innovative product manager intern to help drive the roadmap of our hit game, Good Pizza, Great Pizza. The qualified individual is aware of game KPIs and loves the challenge of moving the needle. In this role, you will design and deploy experiments, analyze and interpret data, deliver insights and make actionable recommendations that will shape the game and engage our global audience. You'll contribute to improving our game mechanics, multiplayer, monetization, and live event offerings.

OBJECTIVES

  • Plan the product vision of the game and feature roadmap to increase core KPIs
  • Develop and manage a full live-ops event calendar to maximize revenue and keep players engaged through balancing and optimizations
  • Collaborate with product manager and game designers to create active and passive live events during internship
  • Use data to drive actionable insights pre- and post-release
  • Identify areas of opportunity for improving KPIs, and help prioritize ideas to impact business goals
  • Design AB tests to quantify prioritized ideas
  • Develop the research strategy to ensure product decisions are data-driven and meet player needs, including the ability to qualitatively and quantitatively teardown games

COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to effectively balance the needs of the player and the business objectives
  • Understanding of economy and monetization design
  • Understanding of engagement drivers in live service games
  • Continuously looking for ways to improve and iterate on existing framework, or building anew for best results

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Currently enrolled in a Master or MBA program
  • Available to work full-time hours for 12 weeks in the office

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Los Angeles, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
  • Prolonged period of time sitting at a desk and computer
